In short, mindfulness is a practice of intentionally bringing your attention to the present moment without judgment. It incorporates awareness of your breath, sensations, thoughts, and emotions. The benefits of mindfulness are diverse! They include stress reduction, improved focus and concentration, enhanced emotional regulation, enhanced physical and mental health, increased self-awareness, improved relationships, better sleep, and greater resilience, among others.

Each video lesson is approximately 10 minutes long, with an accompanying written lesson for added comprehension and review. I encourage participants to start from lesson one and work consecutively through the course (completing the journal and other exercises associated with each lesson) before moving on to the next, although this is not required. Some may complete 1 to 3 lessons per week, whereas others may choose to complete one lesson a day. Your pace is unique to you and your needs!

Not at all! This course is geared towards the beginner. As such, guided meditations are only approximately 5 minutes long. During this course, we cover the fundamentals of mindfulness with real-life applications (and then some!).

This mindfulness course is presented by a licensed professional counselor (me!), emphasizing a holistic approach from a mental health perspective. I draw from therapeutic approaches and resources throughout the course.

Absolutely not! As someone passionate about the alcohol-free lifestyle, I encourage anyone to experiment with an alcohol-free lifestyle; however, this is not what this course is based on. I gravitated to mindfulness personally through my evolution to sobriety, but I recognize that sobriety is not the path for everyone. With this said, I discourage any references to alcoholic drinks or related content in the wellness group, as abstinence from alcohol is a goal for many members.

I do offer a refund policy for my sobriety challenge; however, due to the nature of this course (all the material is available right away) - I do not offer a refund. I am confident you will love it, and I encourage you to watch the complimentary introduction video to get a feel for the course.
